What a clever story! Depth to the characters, interesting plot, romance and mystery! Loved it!
This was a likable Regency gay romance with a bit of a twist. I enjoyed the story which kept me interested throughout. Ms Snow's writing is smooth and comfortable, however, because it is a period piece, I felt that she could have been a bit more descriptive with the clothing and surroundings. There were times I forgot it wasn't a contemporary piece. I liked the characters. The Earl was pitifully lonely and Morgan, the mysterious stranger, was fun and appealing as was the Dowager Countess. I'm looking forward to reading the next book by this author, a novel length this time, I hope.
